How many bottles do you guys want for the competition, 2 or 3?

Also is there a place on the website to download the form for the beer info we need to have attached to each bottle?

Hello,

I’m trying to register online, but the website it telling me that it’s been flagged for suspicious content. Are you having issues with your server or site for the online registration? Can I get the hardcopy entry forms? Thanks so much!

Hey Kip, damn spammers have attacked! Problem has been addressed, but Chrome might still be showing warnings. Let me see if I can track down a hard copy for you! Sorry for the trouble!

Kip August 24, 2011 at 3:12 pm

No Problemo. Actually I registered on my iphone without the malware warning, but it looks like the registration was corrupted. Is there any way to reset my account? It’s telling me now that I’m not in the system. When i try to create a new account it says my email isn’t valid.

I am a new brewer and have never entered a Homebrew Competition before. Do you have to be present at the competition to be judged/get feedback?

I will be out of the country the day of the competition.

Thank you,

David

Hey David, you do not have to be present. Notes will be returned with your scorecard. Cheers.

Hello,

This is my first time entering a competition. I will most likely be dropping the bottles off at the The Home Wine Beer and Cheesemaking Shop location on my drive down to San Diego on Sat. 9/3. A couple of questions. What exactly needs to be on the labels for each bottle? Category and what else? Do I need to have my three bottles in a box with everything in it when I drop it off at that location? Also, do people have to be present on judging day?

Thanks for the help,

Brady

Went through the registration and printed out the labels for the bottles. I now am having problems trying to pay though. It says I haven’t logged any entries yet and won’t let me pay.

I see the entry deadline is Sept 9th, whats the deadline for dropping off entries (the 9th or the following week)?

Reply

Carl Townsend August 30, 2011 at 9:26 pm

Entries must be received by the close of business on Sept 9th. Check with your closest brewshop to see what time they close.

For subcategory 21b, it says I “may” declare undelying beer style as well as special ingredients.
Does this mean I do not have to declare it? Basically do I need to declare anything or is it up to me?

Sorry to be a pain here, but I’m not really sure what is going on. I’ve registered and the hacker warnings have stopped, but now when I try to print my entries it says “You do not have sufficient access priveliges to view this page.” I really want to submit my entries for this competition and time is running out. I’m not sure why I’m having so many issues, but please let me know how I can get my entries printed so I can drop them off at CCHBS. Thanks for the help with this.

Help would be appreciated.

I’ve registered am and trying to pay online. For some reason the system doesn’t recognize my 2 entries and tell me I have nothing to pay for…

How can I get my payment in as I am planning on dropping off my entries tomorrow night.

Hey Chris,

Sorry for the trouble. You can either drop a check off with your entries, or if you’d prefer to use PayPal, please send registration fees to treasurer@pacificgravity.com.

Cheers!
